India’s Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj has had a kidney failure, the top diplomat who became popular with her people-centric diplomacy, tweeted.

In her absence the work of the foreign office is being managed by the two ministers of state MJ Akbar and VK Singh under the supervision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In real sense it is the Foreign Secretary S.Jaishankar who is running the foreign office and chances of his extension have brightened with this development.
