Date:

New Delhi: How many times do you remember a minister giving up the first class seat in an aircraft for a sick person?

Well, something like this recently happened in IndiGo’s Bengaluru-Ranchi flight on Sunday when Union minister of state for aviation, Jayant Sinha, gave up his first class seat to an ill lady in the flight.

Shreya Pradip was reportedly transferred to bigger seats on the flight because her mother was sick and required more leg room. She soon recognized that the seats belonged to Jayant Sinha and his wife.

As soon as Sinha board, the flight,he asked Shreya and her mother to remain seated and said he would lie on the other seats.

Shreya’s tweet thanking Jayant Sinha has been retweeted over 2,900 times and has earned nearly as many likes. She also posted a selfie with Jayant Sinha.

Jayant Sinha enters the club of ministers who have gained recognition on social media with their difficulties solving or unique gesture.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu are appreciated to be among the most active ministers on social media.
