Man stabs woman for rejecting his advances, arrested

\ Chennai, Oct 28 (PTI) A 32-year-old man allegedly stabbed\a woman in her face at a busy bus terminus here after she\rejected his advances, police said.\ The man stabbed the 25-year-old with a knife in full\public view at the Koyambedu bus terminus last night as she\did not respond positively to his proposal, they said.\ The woman, who sustained minor injuries, raised an\alarm following which a police official on duty in the\vicinity nabbed the assailant with the help of others at the\terminus.\ The man was arrested and produced before a court today\which remanded him to judicial custody.\ After preliminary inquiry, police said three years ago the\man and the victim had worked together in a private firm and\at that time too, he had pestered the woman to accept his\advances.
