Body of new-born found at garbage dump in Punjab

\ Phagwara (Pb), Oct 28 (PTI) Body of a new-born boy was\found near a garbage dump at Gobindpura industrial area along\railway lines between Phagwara and Phillaur rail section,\police said today.\ The body was spotted by some people yesterday who informed\the police, local government railway police in-charge Gurbhej\Singh said.\ Stray dogs might have eaten some parts of the new-born\\’s\body, he said.\ A case under Section 318 (concealment of birth by\secret disposal of dead body) of IPC was registered against\unidentified persons, he said adding the GRP has sent the body\for post-mortem.
