Telangana cabinet to discuss Krishna River water sharing issue

Hyderabad: A meeting of the Telangana Cabinet would be held on Friday to discuss the construction of Secretariat and sharing of Krishna River water.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to hold the Cabinet meeting in the Secretariat tomorrow, a release from his office stated.

The Cabinet meeting is likely to discuss the construction of new secretariat and the decision of the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal on sharing of Krishna waters (with neighbouring states).

The state government is reportedly contemplating building a new secretariat. The present one reportedly has ‘Vastu‘ defects.
