The much-awaited sedan, Honda Accord Hybrid, will be launched in India on 25 October. The Honda Accord firstly appeared on Indian roads in 2008 with a rather heavy price and was discontinued after nearly 5 years because of low sales.
The Honda Accord will come sporting a lean stance, complemented by the chrome-laced grille, re-designed bumpers, and sharp-looking head-lamps with an LED strip. The Honda Accord Hybrid will come powered by a 2.0-litre iVTEC engine along with double electric motors, which will be connected to an E-CVT unit and a 1.3 kW lithium ion battery.
The expected price of the Honda Accord Hybird is about 28 lakhs and it will be competing with Toyota Camry Hybrid in India. Honda will also launch a petrol model of the Accord in India.
