Books one may want to read is a very personal choice. Here is a list of books that one should read before turning 30, as each one of them brings different lessons for life:

#1: ‘Harry Potter Series’ by ‘J K Rowling’

Only one book will not give you rest, you need to read the series for the essence of the stories. The amazing fascination they build up is great!

#2: ‘To Kill a mocking Bird’ by ‘Harper Lee’

To see the world through the lens of a small girl child, set in 1935 is a story of racism, gender inequality, and facets of society.

#3: ‘Animal Farm’ by ‘George Orwell’

The understanding of how socialism impacts society and how it breeds into minds of beings. The system is explained through a seating of an animal, where some animals are more equal than others.

The condition of Indian state of Bihar is known to us all. The writing of Adiga brings excellent description of same, describing the nuances and a fiction that is sad.

#5: ‘The Immortals of Meluha’ by ‘Amish Tripathi’

The trilogy, is a tale of Lord Shiva as a common tribal head and his adventures. The first part is the best and riveting. I could never forget this line form the book, “Opposite of love is not hate, it is becoming indifferent.”

Mahatma has given his life as it is. Not a bit more, neither less. Can relate and experiment a lot many things told by him.

The book keeps the dreams alive for those who believe they could and they would fulfil them one day. It takes one through a journey and establishes the fact, dreams are fulfilled for those who dare to move out of their comfort zone.
