Jaguar Land Rover has finally launched the refreshed version of their luxury sedan XF at the starting price of ₹ 49.50 lakh for the base trim and goes up to ₹ 62.10 lakh for the top spec variant.

New XF will be available in 2 variants with petrol and in 3 variants with a diesel engine. The booking will commence from Thursday for ₹ 5 lakh while the deliveries will begin from the September end.
2016 XF comes with 2.0-litre Petrol and Diesel engines. The 2.0 four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine delivers 177 bhp of power and 430 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine churns out 237 bhp of power and 340 Nm of torque available all the way from 1750 to 4000 rpm.

Both the version comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. ARAI certified fuel efficiency for petrol and diesel XF are 13.12 kmpl and 19.33 kmpl respectively.
New-gen XF comes furnished with ‘Jaguar Drive Control’, enabling the driver to switch between four different driving modes- Standard, Eco, Dynamic or Rain/Ice/Snow. The modes alter the response of steering, throttle, and the gearbox. Variant wise, the diesel version will be prepared in three trims- Pure, Prestige, and Portfolio, while the petrol XF will be available only in two trims- Prestige and Portfolio.
Inside, the new XF greets you with a 10-colour ambient lighting, 12.3-inch fully TFT instrument cluster, a laser Heads Up Display and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Its feature further includes 14-way adjustable driver seat with memory function, 4-zone climate control and 825 kW Meridian Surround Sound System with 17-speakers.
Like global markets, the Next-gen XF will compete against the bunch of luxury sedans like Audi A6, Merc C-class, BMW 5-series and Volvo’s upcoming S90.
