M/s Avgol India to set up non-woven fabric unit in Mandideep

Bhopal, Sep 21 (PTI) A non-woven fabric unit will beset up in industrial area in neighbouring Mandideep withcapital investment of Rs 223 crore by M/s Avgol India. This was informed in a Cabinet committee meetingchaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan yesterday, oninvestment promotion, an official of the Public RelationDepartment said today. "It was decided in the meeting that rebate will beprovided to M/s Avgol India on project proposal as per theIndustrial Policy for setting up non-woven fabric unit with acapital investment of Rs 223 crore," the official said. Facilities will also be provided to M/S Amba Shaktiindustry, being set up in industrial area Bamor, with capitalinvestment of Rs 113.43 crore, as per 2010 Industrial Policy. Besides, the committee also decided to go for openauction for 1.86 hectares land notified in Crystal IT SEZ inIndore after fixation of base value. It also decided that a total of 22.778 hectare landwill be given to M/S Trident Ltd in Budhni in Sehore districtat 25 per cent rate for composite textile project for basicand social infrastructure, he said. Minister for Finance Jayant Mallaiya, Minister forIndustries and Commerce Rajendra Shukla, Minister for WaterResources and Public Relations Dr Narottam Mishra, Ministerfor Revenue Umashankar Gupta, Minister for Energy Paras Jainand Chief Secretary Anthony DeSa among others were present inthe meeting.
