Some 60 schools and universities in eastern Canada were evacuated on Wednesday over a chain of threats, including an anonymous bomb threat received by police.
According to police, all schools have been evacuated in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island following a potential bomb threat. “Police agencies and school administration are evacuating all Prince Edward Island schools due to a potential threat,” said the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Parents have been told they can take their children from schools’ designated safe locations.
According to reports, more than 60 schools are affected.
