Hyderabad, Sep 21 (PTI) The BJP-PDP "experiment" has"totally failed" in Jammu and Kashmir and the coalitionpartners don’t trust each other, senior Congress leaderDigvijaya Singh alleged. "Totally failed. They don’t trust each other. They areclinging on to power just for the sake of power," he alleged,adding PDP is against BJP’s stated position on Article 370 ofthe Constitution and "other issues". To a question if Congress favoured imposition ofPresident’s Rule in Jammu and Kashmir as suggested in somequarters, Singh said, "Basically, we don’t supportpromulgation of President’s Rule because it has been misusedin Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand (recently) but then theGovernment of India has to take a stand." The Congress general secretary alleged that in dealingwith Pakistan, the Narendra Modi government has made a"complete U-turn". "We don’t approve the way Narendra Modi and hisgovernment have been dealing with Pakistan and the Kashmirissue. These are both contentious issues and in fact, it isthe reverse of what Modi and BJP promised in their pollmanifesto," he told PTI.
