World has come together to isolate Pak on terrorism: Naidu

New Delhi, Sept 20 (PTI) Accusing Pakistan of supportingterrorism against India, Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu todaysaid the entire world has come together to isolate Islamabadon the issue even as he asserted Jammu-Kashmir is an integralpart of India and there could be "no compromise" on it. "Our neighbour is aiding, abetting, funding, tradingterrorists. They have made terrorism a state policy. Entireworld has come together to isolate Pakistan and condemnPakistan(-backed) terrorism. Terrorism is not acceptable atall. We have been very clear about it," he said, withoutmaking direct mention of Uri terror attack. The Union Urban Development Minister said, "(no matter)how many times they (Pakistan) raise the Kashmir issue, Jammuand Kashmir will remain an integral part of India and there isno question of compromise on it." Naidu made these remarks during an event in which herenamed the Paryavaran Bhawan, located in Central GovernmentOffices (CGO) Complex, as ‘Pundit Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan’.Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs (IndependentCharge) Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also attended the event to markthe birth centenary of BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay. He said that the NDA government does not work on communalline and added that a terrorist is "neither a Hindu norMuslim" as he pitched for "integrated nationalism". "We should seek inspiration from our history. You may(religion wise) be Hindu, Muslim, Christian, but we all areIndians. Our ancestors are one," he said. Naidu, while referring to the debate on nationalism, saidthe slogan of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ is not a dialogue of anyfilm but an act of "uplifting poorest of poor" of the country. The Minister also took a veiled dig at Gandhi family forallegedly naming majority of country’s memorials, projects andinstitutes after its members. He termed first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as a"great patriot", but added Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel andSubhas Chandra Bose "too were great patriots". Naidu further said the NDA government is trying to namememorials, institutes and government structures after"forgotten heroes" of the country. He also lauded BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay for"guiding" people "to work for uplift of the last person in thesociety" as he defined the concept of ‘antyodaya’. The building, which houses Minority Affairs Ministry andother government offices, has been renamed after former UnionMinister Najma Heptulla made a proposal to this regard inMarch this year. The building was named as Paryavaran Bhawan as it wouldearlier house offices of Environment Ministry. The EnvironmentMinistry offices were shifted to a separate building calledIndira Paryavaran Bhawan located in Jor Bagh in 2014. PTI ENMSMJ
