Woman dies, daughter battles for life

Mathura, Sep 20 (PTI) A 22-year-old woman died while herthree-year-old daughter is battling for life after she jumpedin front of a train near Baroda village here, police saidtoday. Rama Devi succumbed to here injuries on way to K Dhospital last night, while her daughter Anjali, admitted tothe same hospital, is fighting for life, they said. The woman’s father has filed an FIR against the former’shusband and in-laws, alleging they were demanding an "extradowry in the form of a motorbike and Rs 1 lakh", police said.
