Six of a family killed in house collapse due to heavy rain

Jhabua (MP), Sep 20 (PTI) Six members of a family,including four children, were killed when their housecollapsed following heavy rains at a village here in the weehours today. The mishap occurred in Dhebarbadi village when thevictims were sleeping in their house which collapsed suddenlyfollowing a long spell of rains in the district, JhabuaSuperintendent of Police Sanjay Tiwari said. The deceased have been identified as – Mukesh Bhabor(32), his wife Rukm Bai (30), daughters Bodi (8), Buchi (4)and Sarangi (02) and son Vijay (06), Tiwari said. The bodies were sent for autopsy to district hospital. District Collector Ashish Saxena, after visiting themishap spot, told PTI that efforts were on the bring Mukesh’smother from Gujarat. The kin of the deceased would be provided compensation asper the rules, he added. PTI COR MAS GKRT
