Max temperatures hover around normal in Punjab, Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 20 (PTI) The maximum temperature todayhovered around normal level at most places in Punjab andHaryana. Chandigarh, the joint capital of the two states, recordeda maximum temperature of 34.4 deg Celsius, the MeT Departmentreport said. In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 35.1 degree Celsius,up by two notches while Hisar and Karnal recorded the maximumtemperatures of 38 degree Celsius and 35 degree Celsiusrespectively. Narnaul’s maximum was recorded at 36.3 degreeCelsius. In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 35.5 degreeCelsius, while Ludhiana and Patiala registered their maximumsat 33.7 degree Celsius and 34.1 degree Celsius respectively.
