During a recent interview, The Simpsons co-creator James L. Brooks revealed that they approached Michelle Obama for the long-running comedy series, but were declined.
The team had tried hard to get Michelle, but were responded with a hilarious note. Brooks said, “We finally got a note that said ‘good try,’ because we were so aggressive.”
Michelle Obama may be willing to appear on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ and ‘Parks and Recreation’, but not on the animated-comedy series Simpsons!
