Intex Aqua S7 launched at Rs 9499, compatible with Reliance Jio

Smartphone Company Intex has launched its latest smartphone on the market entitled, Intex Aqua S7. It is rated at Rs 9,499 and will come up with the new Reliance Jio Welcome Offer. The smartphone will come in Rose Gold, Dark Blue, and Champagne colour variants. Availability details regarding the phone have not been stated yet.
This smartphone comes up with salient features that are popular in the sub Rs 10,000 series devices, but what make it bizarre is the utilization of Asahi’s tough glass rather than Gorilla glass. Asahi has presented the tough glass to Fifa for glass benches along the track lines, and also makes the windshield for Tesla cars.

In terms of specifications, this smartphone features a 5-inch HD display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and is paired up with 3GB RAM.
It also includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be moreover expanded via microSD card. The device comprises a fingerprint sensor as well.

Updated with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the smartphone comes furnished with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash in addition to a 5MP front facing camera.
The Connectivity features include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS/ A-GPS.
Another prominent characteristic of the phone’s OS is the emergency mode, which when enabled, can send SOS messages to assigned contacts by pressing down the volume up and down keys.
The thickness can be associated with the combination of a 3200mAh battery and a removable back cover (for accessing the dual SIM card slots and the MicroSD card slot).
