RSS most patriotic organisation: Rijiju

New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) Union minister Kiren Rijiju todaydescribed RSS as the "most patriotic organisation" in thecountry and said Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’scomments on the Sangh was a "political game". "RSS is the most patriotic organisation in this country.No other organisation even comes close to it. How can you makea sweeping comment about an organisation like that. It’sbizarre," he told reporters here. The Minister of State for Home was replying to a questionon Rahul’s assertion in the Supreme Court that he stood by hisstatement that people associated with RSS killed MahatmaGandhi. "If you do that you have to stand behind the comments.It’s a political game being played by the Congress party," hesaid. Rahul has told the Supreme Court that he stood by everyword of his statement against people associated with RSS onthe issue of Gandhi’s killing and was ready to face trialbefore a Maharashtra court which has issued summons to him asan accused in the case.
