UpGrad, Unmetric, HubSpot in tie-up for content development

Mumbai, Aug 29 (PTI) Ronnie Screwvala-backed educationstartup UpGrad has tied-up with Unmetric and HubSpot Academyto develop learnings-based content for digital marketingprogramme. Unmetric is a social media analytics and intelligenceplatform developer, while HubSpot Academy is the trainingdivision of HubSpot, an inbound marketing and sales platform. "Targeted at both young professionals starting theirmarketing careers as well as seasoned marketers looking toupgrade their skills to keep up with the digital revolution,the Digital Marketing programme focuses on preparingfuture-ready digital marketers for industry challenges andscenarios," the company said in a statement today. According to a recent report by media agency Group M,the digital ad spends in 2016 are expected to grow at 40 percent against an overall ad spend growth of 15.9 per cent. "Digital is not only changing business functions, itis transforming whole industries, sectors and the way we work.Similarly, marketing is not limited to hoardings, TV ads oreven just social media anymore," UpGrad CEO and Co-FounderMayank Kumar said.
