Woman, daughter injured after acid falls on them

New Delhi, Aug 28 (PTI) A woman and her 10-year-olddaughter were injured when diluted acid fell on them whilethey were crossing an under-construction house in north eastDelhi’s Bhajanpura area, police said today. While the woman alleged that she was attacked with acid,police said prima facie it seems that the chemical fell on heraccidentally. The incident occurred when Fozia (31) and her daughterwere crossing an under-construction house in BhajanpuraD-Block and the chemical that was being used to clean thehouse fell on them, they said. They were rushed to GTB Hospital and were dischargedafter receiving first aid as they did not suffer any seriousinjuries, police said. "It was a diluted form of acid and a worker who wascleaning the house accidentally spilled the liquid on themwhen his foot slipped. "We are questioning the accused Pradeep.
