Now NASA’s researchers will be available online for free, here’s how

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced that it will share all public funded research accessible online free.

The Space agency has formed a new web portal “Pubspace”, where anyone can access all NASA-Funded research articles. Though, there are some omissions, as research related to national security will not be available on this web.

NASA Chief Scientist Ellen Stofan said that “Making our research data easier to access will greatly magnify the impact of our research”.

Currently over 850 articles are available on the web and many more will be available very soon. This initiative is a part of changing trend in the international scientific community towards.

The move is part of a trend in the worldwide scientific community towards allowing every citizen to utilize the researched knowledge and making scientific know-how more swiftly available.
