On Rakshabandhan, RSRTC offers free ride to women in it buses

Jaipur, Aug 18 (PTI) On the occasion of Rakshabandhan,Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) todayoffered free ride to women in its buses of all categories. No fair is being charged from female passengers frommidnight. It is for 24 hours, an RSRTC spokesperson said. The RSRTC has 4,500 buses in which 9,50,000 passengerstravel in normal days of which over 30 per cent are female.However, the number of women travelling in buses increases onthe occasion of Rakshabandhan, he said.
