Bollywood celebrates Sakshi Malik’s Rio Olympic win

Mumbai, Aug 18 (PTI) Bollywood celebrities includingmegastar Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, MadhuriDixit, Anil Kapoor and Karan Johar among others, congratulatedIndian woman wrestler Sakshi Malik for ending India’sfrustrating medal drought by winning bronze medal at RioOlympic Games. Malik scripted history by becoming the first womanwrestler from India to bag an Olympic medal and only fourthfemale athlete from the country to climb to the podium at thebiggest sporting event in the world. The 23-year-old from Haryana defeated Kyrgysztan’s AisuluuTynybekova in the 58kg category to script history. "Proud to be an Indian… Proud of Sakshi…More power towomen !! JAI HIND," Bachchan tweeted.
