Regarding the facilitation of Free Film Tradebetween the two countries, Naidu mentioned that Bangladeshcould consider relaxing the legal provisions which restrictedthe number of Indian films in that country. The Minister also offered to train young film makers andentrepreneurs from Bangladesh at the Indian Film andTraining Institutes. He also mentioned that collaborative measures would beinitiated between NFDC and Bangladesh Film DevelopmentCorporation to promote joint production of films and alsobetween NFAI and Bangladesh Film Archives for digitization andarchiving. The Ministers also agreed to promote capacity buildingand training workshops for media persons, exchange programmefor officers associated with Information and Broadcasting andexchange of programs between DD and its counterpart inBangladesh.
