Man shot dead, wife hurt by nephew over property dispute

Bareilly, Aug 17 (PTI) A man was shot dead and his wifeinjured by their nephew over a property dispute in Fareedpurarea here today. "Chotte Lal Goswami and his wife Javitri were shot at bytheir nephew Suraj Pal after they refused to handover theiragricultural land to him," police said. "Chotte Lal died on his way to a nearby hospital, whereasJavitri has been admitted to the hospital, where her conditionis stated to be serious," they said.
