India is morally right to rake up Balochistan issue: RSS

Date:

New Delhi, Aug 17 (PTI) A senior RSS functionary todaysaid India is "morally right" to rake up the Balochistan andGilgit Baltistan issue and claimed that Pakistan treats itsown people like "third grade citizens" and uses bombs to crushmuhajirs and provincial independence movements. Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar claimed Modi raising theGilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan issue was morally right whenthe provinces are plagued with difficulties and witnessingmurders. "You (Pakistan) yourself are suffering from violence, killing your own Pakistani citizens, treating Muslims like athird grade citizen to Muslims. By burning Kashmir, you willnot be able to douse fire in your house. It will kill you. So,be a good neighbour and a good country. "If you are looking at Kashmir from a moralistic point ofview. Then India, the Indian government and people of theworld (are right to raise the issue of) Balochistan,Pakhtoonistan, Gilgit Balistan…it is plagued withdifficulties and murders. Pakistan is being immoral in case ofKashmir. If India does it (by raising the Balochistan issue)then its humanity and morally right," Kumar said. He said by fuelling insurgency in the Valley, Pakistan ismaking one Kashmiri kill his fellow and by doing so it will"not be able to douse fire in its own house". "When Pakistan gives money to fuel separatism, providesweapons, arms and ammunition, gives Pakistani flag and(foment) trouble (for) India, they make a Kashmiris killanother Kashmiri. "Muslims from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, Andhra Pradesh andMaharashtra made a mistake and walked the shaitan’s way and asmuhajirs (refugees) created Pakistan. They have passed away, but their generations are being treated as second classcitizens. "Pakistan crushes the movements of muhajirs, provincialindependence movement by using bombs," Kumar said. The National Executive member of the RSS was speaking atthe ‘Vishwa Raksha Bandhan Diwas’ organised by some 40 oddorganisations, which was attended by leaders of severalreligion. Modi for the first time raised the issue of the disturbedareas in the control of Pakistan during his Independencespeech. The remarks also come in the backdrop of recentcomments by him during an all-party meet on Kashmir that thetime had come to expose the atrocities committed "by ourneighbouring nation" in Balochistan and the areas of J&K underits illegal occupation. Noting that Prime Minister Modi has appealed to Pakistanthat it should not walk the "shaitan’s way", Kumar said thereal road the peace is providing education, respect of girlsand weeding out corruption.
