Panaji, Aug 17 (PTI) The condition of Goa’s DeputySpeaker Vishnu Wagh, who was admitted to hospital two days agofollowing complaint of uneasiness, is stable, a seniorofficial said today. "His condition remains stable. He was on sedation allthis while. The doctors will now try to get him off sedationand see his response," Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)Dean Pradeep Naik told PTI today. Wagh was hospitalised in GMCH on August 15 evening whenhe complained of uneasiness during an event at Kala Academyhere. Initially, it was suspected to be a case of cardiacarrest, but upon detailed examination no blockage was found inthe heart, Naik had earlier said. However, his blood pressure and sugar levels remainedhigh, he had said. Wagh, a journalist-turned-politician representing StAndre constituency, is currently admitted in the Coronary CareUnit of the GMCH, a state-run facility located in Bambolimvillage near here. The legislator had suffered a heart attack on May 15this year when he was attending a public function to celebratethe birthday of BJP functionary Anil Hoble.
