Exide Life inks bancassurance tie-up with SVC Coop Bank

Mumbai, Aug 17 (PTI) Exide Life Insurance has enteredintoa bancassurance agreement with SVC Co-operative Bank, underwhich the private insurer will cater to over eight lakhcustomers of the bank. Under the arrangement, Exide Life Insurance will getaccess to 193 SVC bank branches, which cater to over eightlakh customers, a release issued here said. Through this association, SVC bank will be able toleverage on product innovation, technology and best in classtraining offered by Exide Life Insurance. SVC Co-operative Bank Managing Director Suhas NSahakarisaid, "Life Insurance is seen both as coverage and aninvestment tool. In this regard, our tie-up with Exide LifeInsurance will add to our existing repertoire and provide morelife insurance product options for our customers."
