Panaji, Aug 17 (PTI) The Goa Congress today said it willnot project any chief ministerial candidate during thecampaigning of forthcoming State Assembly elections. "The chief ministerial candidate cannot be decided by GoaPradesh Congress Committee or any individual. Post election,the Congress legislative wing will decide who will be theirleader," Congress Goa unit chief Luizinho Faleiro toldreporters. The main opposition party in the state has been strugglingwith internal bickering with former state Health minister andcurrent legislator Vishwajit Rane recently announcing that hisfather, Pratapsinh Rane, would be the next Congress chiefminister. Rane is currently the Leader of Opposition in thelegislative assembly. When asked about Rane’s remarks, Falerio said, "Rememberone thing, greed, arrogance and power has no place in publiclight." He further said Congress was working on building a strongbase ahead of the election, scheduled next year in March.
