Cattle-laden truck seized in UP

Etah (UP), Aug 17 (PTI) A truck carrying 26 cows wasseized in Soharai village here, police said today. The truck was intercepted near the railway crossing herelast night and 26 cows were recovered from the vehicle, theysaid, adding one of them was found dead. The driver and others in the truck managed to escapetaking advantage of the darkness. A case has been registered against unidentified personsand the animals have been sent to a cow shelter here, theysaid. PTI CORR FAR ZMNIKA
