Meanwhile, Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh alsocondoled the demise of Singh. He said his death was a great loss to the contemporaryworld of literature and the vacuum will be difficult to fill. Amarinder said, Singh chronicled the contemporary times inhis writing through fiction as well as the harsh realities oflife.
