New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI) An Indo-Japanese forum todaydemanded an extensive probe by India into the "mysterious"death of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and said it should takeassistance from Russia, the US and Japan in this regard. NSCB Indo-Japan Organisation also announced setting up ofa memorial to honour the freedom fighter in Japan’s Nikkocity. Two Japanese farmers have also given two hectares ofland free of cost to construct the memorial in Nikko city. Itis being built by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Memorial Indo-Japan Organisation in association with the Indo-Japan CulturalAssociation, Nikko. Nikko is a small city in Japan’s Tochigi Prefecture inthe mountains, north of Tokyo. Congratulating the government for declassifying Netaji’sfiles, Balasaheb Deshmukh, the founder of the NSCB Indo-JapanOrganisation, said, "We also appeal to the Government of Indiato investigate Netaji Subhas babu’s case of death with thehelp of America, Russia and Japan thoroughly," The "bhoomi-pujan" for the memorial will start inNovember this year for which invitation has been extended toBJP President Amit Shah and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Thework on the memorial will be completed in two years, he said. The memorial will comprise a big hall for culturalactivities and well equipped rooms where Indian students canlive for sometime.
