Two arrested for murder of Dalit man

Muzaffarnagar, May 21 (PTI) Two persons have been arrestedin connection with the murder of a 55-year-old Dalit man atKaklapur village here even as tension prevailed in the area. A case was yesterday registered against Sushil Kumar, sonof a former village head, Sandeep, Paley, Babu and Ankit inconnection with the murder, Circle Officer Jagdish Singh said,adding, Sushil and Babu were later arrested. Meanwhile, security has been tightened and additionalpolice force has been deployed in the village in view of thetension, he said. A 55-year-old man Jai Prakash was beaten to death byunidentified persons at Kaklapur village on Thursday night.PTI CORR DIP DVDIP
