This Olympic Team will stay at a cruise liner at Rio

The USA men and women basketball team have chartered Silversea Silver Cloud, a cruise liner for their stay at Olympic games at Rio. The team rejected the shared bedrooms, dorms for luxury rooms, pools, gym, spa and cigar lounge with special seven foot beds.

NBA player Andrew Bogut, playing for Australia in Rio,is staying in the village. He tweeted a photo of himself “putting together a shower curtain so we can shower and not flood the place.” He was named Australia’s richest sport star last year.

Craig Miller, a spokesman for USA Basketball, said “We don’t stay in the village because we don’t feel it’s the best way to prepare for competition.” The United States teams stayed in hotels in London and Beijing, and on a cruise ship in Athens in 2004. They haven’t stayed at Village beginning with the 1992 Olympics.
Though top player like LeBron James are not playing, but having won five of the last six Olympic titles( men), there are high expectations from the American team.
