At the recently held Strawberry Fields Model United Nations Conference, Shobha De was invited to be the keynote speaker at the closing ceremony of the event. During the open round of questions, she was asked about where the fine line lies between righteousness and self righteousness, as a journalist and an author.
Keeping in mind the recent Barkha-Arnab controversy, her response was, “Well, certainly, the nation wants to know”. She went on to take a subtle dig at how recent journalist can be looked at in light of the question asked by a young student.
