India-Bangladesh join hands to fight against terrorism

Home Minister of Bangladesh, Asaduzzaman Khan called on Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi today. While talking to Asaduzzaman Khan, the Indian Prime Minister condoled him for loss of lives in the recent terror attacks in Bangladesh. He also extended full support to Bangladesh in its fight against terrorism.

Mr. Asaduzzaman Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for India’s support and solidarity. He also briefed the Prime Minister about the current situation in Bangladesh.

Mr. Khan visited India for the Home Minister level Talks, which were held today in New Delhi. During the talks both tHome Ministers had consent on the need to immediately operationalise the Agreement on Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
