If you wish to end up your relationship with the hot and humid summers, pack your bags, book your tickets and shift to the city of dreams- Mumbai. Despite the crowd and the fast pace that it is famous for, the city can be absolutely stunning to experience monsoon showers, as long as you know where to stopover.
Listed below are 9 of our favourite hangout spots in Mumbai that you must visit during the monsoon season:
Queen’s Necklace
Isn’t the name a reason enough to drag you there? A walk alongside Mumbai’s famous Marine Drive/Queen’s Necklace along with cutting chai is all that should surround your brain right now.

This is my personal favourite. With Arabian Sea on one side and Bollywood stars residing on the other side; here you can get a whimsical view of the sea and the city together. Also referred to as Mumbai’s Lovers’ Point, this place absolutely breath-taking.
Worli Sea face
Lit up splendidly at night, with the Haji Ali Dargah, Worli fort and the Bandra-Worli sea-link in the background, this place is best for the solitary reapers. Totally picturesque! Caution: Visit this place during low tides as it is known to gulp anyone standing around when the high tides flood in.
Gateway of India
With rains gushing over this absolutely stunning monument, it will not fail to spellbind you. The heritage structure has an endearing charm of its own and will fill you with contentment that is sure to last a lifetime.
Juhu Beach
If you like to hog on food during the monsoon season, this place should not be missed. With street food of all kinds, Juhu Beach appears to be a happy carnival. Bonus- hotels here generally provide special monsoon discount. Sorted?
