US President Barack Obama has done what no other US President has done before

Date:

In his own unique surprising style, President of the United States, Barack Obama did something that has not done before by any president of the US. Mr. President Barak Obama publishes an article, titled “United States Health Care Reform: Progress to Date and Next Steps,” in a scholarly journal. It made him first sitting president to publish an article in an eminent journal. The article was published by Journal of the American Medical Association and analyses the patient protection and affordable care act.

However, it was not the first time when he published a writing piece in an achedamic journal, in 2008, as a senator, he wrote an article “Affordable Health Care for All Americans: The Obama-Biden Plan” which was published in the same journal.

The presidential candidate of Republican Party, Donald Trump has said to repeal the act, “which is one of President Obama’s signature legislative accomplishments”.
