Ghostbusters is a reboot of the ghostbusters franchise. It is a 2016 American supernatural comedy film directed by Paul Feig of the Bad Teacher fame. Starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, the movie is about four parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City.

The film premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on July 9, 2016, and is scheduled for release in the United States on July 15, 2016. Feig has stated that he was partly inspired by the TV series The Walking Dead, stating his goal to “tell a story you haven’t seen before. Or tell a story you’ve seen before, but in a way you haven’t seen it.”

It is tough to follow the standards set by the 1984 ghostbusters movie. However, this reboot is certainly one of those which has not disappointed fans. Feig has replaced the four male lead roles with the industry’s funniest female leads successfully. The characters are in sync with each other while fusing the comic sequences without depleting the running time with the originality of the franchise. For those all who are still not convinced, Chris Hemsworth stars in the movie as well.

The movie will hit the Indian theatres on 15th of July. We urge all our readers to find time in the coming week to catch the ghost comedy. If you won’t be able to make it to the nearest theatre due to clogged monsoon roads, do not worry. You can catch the movie online by clicking on the link below:
