New Delhi: After Subramanian Swamys harsh comments on RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan, veteran BJP leader on Thursday raised question over the dress code of ministers.

According to Swamy party should direct its Ministers to wear traditional and modernised Indian clothes while taking a trip abroad.
In a tweet he described ministers as waiters in coat and tie.

Well in the meanwhile, the tweet went viral and reactions flooded social media.

Meanwhile, Son-in-law of Congress President, Robert Vadra, slammed Swamy’s statement calling him as ‘attention seeker’, ‘classist’.

In a Facebook post Vadra said:

So is there no dignity in being a Waiter?!
The attention seeking BJP MP Swamy’s comment “Ministers who wear a coat and tie “look like waiters” and must be instructed to wear Indian clothes.”
Undermining waiters who work hard for a living; making condescending and derogatory remarks about them is deplorable and classist…

Hitting back at Vadra’s criticism, Swamy said Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law should concentrate on staying out of jail instead of commenting on political issues.

“I think Mr.Vadra should concentrate on staying out of jail and not comment on political issues,” Swamy
