There is a saying that a mother’s love knows no boundaries, and Deb Miller is the best example of it.

Four years ago, Krishna Mohan Tripathi was browsing through Facebook when he came across the profile of Deb Miller, he later sent her a friend request. As the two started to interact more and more with each other, the bond between the two became strong (Deb has no children and Krishna had lost her mother when he was younger).

Deb who happens to be a California resident started to support Krishna emotionally as well. Krishna was in for a pleasant surprise when Deb accepted his wedding invitation.

Krishna stated that he was surprised when he got a call from Deb on January 20 and informed him that she had reached Delhi and was inquiring about the details of trains to reach Gorakhpur.

Deb said, “I do not have children and when I interacted with Krishna, I felt god had fulfilled my wishes. He is a very nice person and I pray to god that all his wishes come true.”

Not only did Deb flew to India for the marriage, she also gifted Krishna’s wife jewelry worth Rs 25 Lakh and a 125-year-old ring that she had bought from an auction house in Britain.

Deb wore a Banarsi sari for the wedding. She said, “I used to see Indian women (wearing saree) on TV and always wondered how they carried it. However, it is a very nice and suave dress. I am taking back two dozen sarees as return gifts. I will come back to India and visit Taj Mahal with my son.”
