How to be picture perfect on your Wedding Day!

Date:

The season of weddings has arrived and so is the worry of looking your best on the D day. It’s the wedding day after all and once in a lifetime occasion. While a lot of deliberation, careful selection and thought processing goes behind what the prospective bride and the groom is going to enrobe, it also becomes paramount to think how all the finesse and finery is going to appear when seen through the camera lens. Apart from the ‘how good you look’ factor, the photographs taken during your wedding also form a very significant and ‘close to the heart’ memory that you would want to cosset for the rest of your life. Whether it is ‘the engagement’, ‘the mehendi’, ‘the sangeet’ or ‘the seven vows moment’, you want to capture all the rituals and ceremonies passionately.

So if you are planning to marry this year and want to create a lifetime remembrance of all the events, you do not have to worry at all; the new age wedding photographers will help you in creating unforgettable memories. Gone are the days when a traditional looking photographer with old school fundas would coax you to pose in a Madhuri or a Sridevi style or ask you to gently hold the hand of your partner and pose in a manner that would emulate romance in Bollywood style. The Gen Y photographers and videographers would probably carry a DSLR camera with a lens kit, a small chip like memory card to store the images and will have a tech-savvy edit room where the clicks take the final shape.

Most of the new-age photographers prefer to do ‘candid’ photography instead of the set pose pattern photos.

“Most of our clients nowadays demand candid shots and we try our best to capture the essence of their relationship in our clicks and videos. For candid shots we try to organize a few meetings with the couple so that we understand their equation and requirements well.”

Not just the wedding day, the candid wedding photography nowadays also includes the pre-wedding and post-wedding shoots and some couples prefer to book a complete package of all the wedding events related photography.

“In the past three years, wedding photography has evolved a lot. Not just the bride and the groom but the entire family is equally excited about the wedding videos. Nowadays clients prefer short and well edited videos as opposed to the long videos capturing the entire wedding ceremony at one go. People are making a conscious effort to book professional wedding photographers well in advance. We currently have bookings for December 2016. We take care of both candid and portrait photography as both of them have their own place in the wedding album.”

But as it is said Tajmahal wasn’t built in a day, building these adorable and love enthusing memories take a bit of a forward planning. In order to capture the couples in their best candid moments and to make them more comfortable in front of the camera, these wedding photographers spend some time to understand the chemistry between the partners and gradually create a comfort zone for the couples to exhibit their love saga in front of the camera.

Meet and Sahiba are tying the nuptial knot in October 2016 and they have already booked their pre and post wedding photography package.

“Our marriage is like a dream turning into reality for us and we want all the moments to be captured perfectly. After the wedding date was finalised, the first thing that we did was booking the photographer.”

-Meet and Sahiba
