Jon Walters scored twice as the Republic of Ireland qualified for Euro 2016 on Monday after beating Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-0 in Dublin to seal a 3-1 aggregate play-off victory.
Stoke City forward Walters, who missed Friday’s 1-1 draw in the first leg through suspension, gave Ireland a 24th-minute lead from the penalty spot after Ervin Zukanovic handled in the area.
Walters then added his second goal of the game on 70 minutes to seal his country’s place at the finals in France next summer.
