UN chief Ban Ki-moon to visit North Korea: Yonhap

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is to visit North Korea, the first head of the world body to set foot in the isolated state for more than 20 years, Yonhap reported.

Citing an unidentified high-level UN source, the South Korean news agency said Ban would visit in his official capacity later this week, though no precise dates were given.

The UN spokesman’s office in New York declined to comment on the report.
