Google celebrates Children’s day with doodle

New Delhi: Oh hey, it’s Children’s Day and look how Google is celebrating. Google is celebrating Children’s day and the birth anniversary of the India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by denoting its today’s doodle that was created under its Doodle 4 Google 2015 contest.

As part of the annual contest that was themed ‘Create Something for India,’ the search giant invited entries from children across the country and the winning entry by P Karthik from Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Andhra Pradesh, is featuring on its homepage.

The doodle depicts a Plastic to Earth Machine, an idea aimed at reversing the damage done to the environment due to increased industralisation.
