As the nation celebrates ‘Bhai Dooj’ on Friday, Maharashtra based sisters of underworld don Chhota Rajan who is in CBI custody also want to meet their brother to celebrate the occasion.
The sisters have appealed to the “compassionate” side of the court, to “be allowed to meet” their brother for “Bhai Dooj” “after 27 years”.
The application, filed through advocates Rajiv Jai and Gajinder Kumar, states that the two women Sunita Sakkharam Chavan and Malini Sakpal have not met their brother for the past so many years and wish to bless him.
The plea was filed before the Sessions court at New Delhi on Thursday. Special CBI Judge OP Saini has sent the application to the prosecution and has fixed it for hearing before Special Judge Vinod Kumar at his residence on Friday morning.
