Addressing the media, RJD boss Lalu said, “We both brothers are very thankful to all the voters for your support. Nitish ji will continue as the CM, we both will together take Bihar on path of development.”

At a joint press conference at JD(U) headquarters in Patna, Lalu said, “After grand victory in Bihar, our next mission will be Delhi.”

Lalu also said that after Bihar he will now go to Varanasi with a lantern which is RJD’s election symbol.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “I express my gratitude towards people of Bihar, will try our best to match up with their expectations.”

“The results are a reflection of nation’s mood and people deserve effective opposition, he added.”
