SRK ahead of PM Modi on Twitter

Shah Rukh Khan is now the second most followed Indian on Twitter as he has zoomed past Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s number of followers on the microblogging platform and has scored a sum of 16 million followers.

The 50-year-old actor is trailing only behind Amitabh Bachchan, who has a whopping 17.6 million followers. PM Modi now takes the third spot with 15.8 million followers.

The ‘Happy New Year’ star joined Twitter with moniker ‘@iamsrk’ on January 3, 2010 and since then, he has known to be one of the most active users on the platform.

Shah Rukh will be next seen in the Rohit Shetty directorial ‘Dilwale’ that also stars Kajol and Varun Dhawan.
