London: The Spice is all set to come back into our lives as the girls who introduced them as Spice Girls are thinking of getting together. Great news, no!
Former pop girl group Spice Girls could be about to reunite, Mel C has confirmed.
The 41-year-old singer – who starred in the group alongside Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham – said they have staged talks about a possible comeback and she’s even identified Hyde Park as the ideal venue, reported Daily Mirror.
“We’ve talked about it, but we just haven’t got our act together. We’re a bit useless. But performing at Hyde Park would be amazing.”
“I went to see Taylor Swift there this year and it was so wonderful. It was a really good, fun gig. I think for the Spice Girls that would be appropriate. It’s a bit more friendly,” she said.
She said, though, that the group are unlikely to be ready in time to perform at the annual Brit Awards next year, despite speculation to the contrary.
“There’s definitely no chance we’ll get our act together by then. It’s a shame, actually. We need to stop procrastinating and get on with something.”
