India 168-7 in first South Africa Test

India were 168 for seven at tea on the opening day of the first Test against South Africa at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday.

Ravindra Jadeja was unbeaten on 26 and Ravichandran Ashwin was on four at the break.

Opener Murali Vijay scored 75. Left-arm spinner Dean Elgar picked up four wickets.
